Survey outline

In this research, surveys were conducted targeting children between 9 and 13 years of age going to elementary schools in five capital city areas, as shown in Table 1.All of these are data based on the judgment sampling. Since it was possible to define the planned number of samples in surveys in Korea and Japan, the effective recovery ratio was calculated. The survey of Japan covered a total of 25 schools in Tokyo, and a total 5,307 effective samples were recovered. This represented an effective recovery ratio of 87.5%. Table 2 shows the periods during which surveys were conducted in the five countries. The Japan survey was implemented from January to February, 2011.
